BEFORE THE FIRST HOLE
Review the fireplace and TV manufacturers’ guidance. A mantel alone does not prove that a mounting location is safe for a screen.
Measure from your seating position. The fireplace and room layout can make a high mounting position uncomfortable.
Tile, stone veneer and brick need assessment of the supporting structure. Cable routes and nearby outlets also matter.

HOW IT WORKS
Include the wall surface, mantel and TV size.
Check height, clearance and your seating view.
Plan how cables reach your equipment.
Review the full setup before confirming.
BEFORE YOU BOOK
The surface and the structure behind it need assessment. Include the wall material in your booking so the mounting approach can be planned.
Excess heat can damage a screen. Follow the manufacturers’ guidance for the fireplace and TV, and assess the proposed location before mounting.
A compatible pull-down mount can change the viewing position, but it needs sufficient clearance and suitable support. Tell us which mount you have.
Fireplace construction and access can restrict cable routes. A surface channel may be more suitable where an in-wall route is unavailable.
